Day 539
1 documented win
America still feeding the world’s energy
The win
The Energy Institute’s 2026 Statistical Review, covered by Fox, found U.S. oil production at a record 21.1 million barrels a day in 2025 — nearly Saudi Arabia and Russia combined. America remained the world’s largest natural-gas producer and leading exporter of petroleum products, even as the planet burned more energy than ever.
For Americans
When the world still runs on oil and gas, the country that produces them writes the price. That is the difference between a $3 gallon and a $5 gallon, and between a factory that stays and one that leaves.
For people abroad
Importing nations get barrels and tankers from a democratic supplier instead of a cartel with a navy. Hospitals in allied capitals keep the lights on because the Gulf Coast shipped.
